Estonian Actor Based in London
About Me
I’m Ruben, an Estonian actor working and training in London.
My journey started at VHK’s selective drama department, where only 16 students were chosen from 100 applicants. Three years with Lembit Peterson gave me a foundation I still rely on every day — discipline, presence and a respect for story.
I moved to the UK to study Drama at Kingston University, where I worked across Shakespeare, devising, cabaret, clowning, burlesque and naturalism. In 2025, I was selected as one of six actors in London to receive the BADA Branch Scholarship — a 14-week intensive focused on voice, movement, physical theatre and Restoration comedy.
I’m drawn to roles that demand honesty and bold choices.
Characters that burn a little.
Stories that stay with you.
